28 Feb 2008 - Tree Planting at Our Field

We were very lucky to receive a pack of trees from the Woodland Trust, won for us by Isabelle as a result of a competition she had entered at the local Spar shop. There were 30 trees in total- Birch, Rowan and Cherry. Tubex Ltd. kindly provided the tree shelters. The whole School walked to our Field in their wellies and Paul Glanville, the Dartmoor Ranger, explained how we should plant the trees. They have been labelled with its name and the names of the children in that group. Parents and staff helped the children plant the trees and we hope to see them grow over the years.
