Thank you to everyone who took part in yesterday's Sports Day. We were very lucky with the weather this year. The children did really well in all their races and showed a fantastic team spirit throughout the afternoon. It was wonderful to hear and see everyone cheering the competitors. Thank you to everyone who helped out in any way yesterday. It was very much appreciated and ensured the afternoon went smoothly. We have received many positive comments about this year's event. Well done to Dart, the winning team, and thank you to the PTA and Friends who provided the ice-cream. Back to top

So far you have raised £443 as a result of our Sponsored Skip. Please ensure all money raised has been returned to us by Friday 27th June so that we can send off our contribution to the British Heart Foundation. Congratulations go to Isabella and Jemima who won the draw last Friday. Back to top

Congratulations

Well done to Freya, Sean, Poppy, Jasmine, Izzy, Cerys, Beth W and Minnie, our Country Dancers, who performed at last Saturday's Mary Tavy Fun Day. They worked incredibly hard and are obviously extremely fit. Thanks go to Mrs Macgougan and Mrs Stacey for organising the dancers. Back to top

Apologies to the Junk Band! In the last Newsletter, it should have read that they visited Lewannick School. Well done to the Junk Band for a brilliant performance at Lamerton Duck Race. So many people have complimented the Band on their music. Well done to Guy who not only won the Duck Race but also won the 'Guess the number of sweets in a jar' competition. Many thanks to the Painters, Collingwoods and Simpsons for transporting instruments and to parents who used their cars to take the children to the event.

Next Wednesday is the big Music Day when the whole School is out at Exeter for the Devon Big Mix. The day promises to be really exciting for everyone. Don't forget that if you have ordered a School packed lunch your child will need to bring in a named container on Tuesday. The bus must leave on time so please be prompt in the morning.

Parking

Please remember not to stop or park on the zig-zag lines outside School between 8.30-8.45am and 3.15-3.30pm. Children are having to go around cars that have stopped on the lines into the middle of the road which is obviously dangerous. We want to keep our children safe at all times.
