Thanks
Mrs Cotton would like to thank everyone who attended Mr Cotton's funeral yesterday. She would also like to thank people for their kind words and support since John's sudden death. Back to top

E-mails
We hope to be able to set up the e-mail system for parents who have opted into the scheme. We will ask you to acknowledge the first e-mail to ensure that the system is working. Bear in mind that you will still receive some information in paper form at times so do be sure to check your child's book bag.  Back to top
Junk Band

Well done to the KS2 members of our Junk Band who performed and led a workshop at Lewannick School in Cornwall on Monday. The whole Junk Band will be performing at the Duck Race at Lamerton this Sunday at 2.00pm if you fancy hearing them live. Many thanks to Miss Dawkins for her hard work and enthusiasm which is so inspiring to the children.

Swimming
Unfortunately Classes 1M and 1C were unable to go swimming today as there was a problem at Parklands Pool. Obviously the children were very disappointed to miss their session but it was completely out of our control. We will refund the cost of a session to those parents who have paid up to the end of term and can only apologise on behalf of Parklands.  Back to top
Sponsored Skip

What a fantastic effort in the playground yesterday with everyone skipping to raise for the British Heart Foundation and School. The children were brilliant and so enthusiastic. Many of them demonstrated some really fancy skills. They skipped for 105 minutes within a 2 hour band. They did have drinks stops and they had some fruit to give them energy. We have already received a considerable amount of money. Please send in any sponsorship money and forms by Friday 13th June. All children who return their money by this date will be entered into the draw. Do not forget to tick the gift aid box on the sponsorship form. Many thanks for supporting us and well done to the Staff who helped out and even joined in !

Educational Visits

Please remember that consent forms for all visits must be returned to School by the due date. We do have a saying at School - 'No slip, no trip'.

Children in Classes 1C and 1M had a brilliant day at the Plymouth Aquarium and really learnt about marine life

The Visitor's Officer from Cothele House telephoned on Wednesday to praise the behaviour of Class 3. Apparently she rated them as one of the best groups she's ever had. She complimented them on their knowledge and enthusiasm and said how they were a credit to the School. Well done Class 3.
