Barton Hall

Our Year 6 children had a brilliant weekend at Barton Hall with Year 6 children from Milton Abbot, Gulworthy and Lamerton Schools. Although the weather was not too kind to us on the Saturday, the children still had great fun. They thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the activities - Aquafun, raft-making, quad bikes, giant swing, low ropes, climbing wall, archery and Aeroball. Many of the children said that the worst bit of the weekend was leaving Barton Hall! It was a real pleasure to take the group away who proved to be a credit to both the School and their parents. Educational Visits

The children take a packed lunch with them when we go out. All children entitled to free meals can have a free school packed lunch. The Kitchen are able to offer a healthy packed lunch service to all children. Orders must be placed in advance, the day before a visit is the latest the Kitchen can accept them. You will also need to send in a named container for your child and payment of £1.85 (if applicable) the day before your child goes out. Please ask if you wish to find out more about this service. Drama

Unfortunately, due to family reasons, there will be no more Drama Club until further notice. Back to top

Sponsored Skip

Do not forget that we will be holding our Sponsored Skip in aid of the British Heart Foundation and the School on Thursday 5th June. All children will take part in the skipping although sponsorship is not compulsory. Please send in forms on Wednesday 4th June so that they can be completed by teachers on the Thursday. All children who collect sponsorship will be entered into a draw. 25% of the money raised will go towards the School and we hope to buy some playground equipment that can be used by the children. We do hope that you are able to support this event. The children love practising their skipping and trying out new skills. Back to top
