Lower Playground
The culprits who caused the damage to our Lower Playground have been visited by the Police and have since come into School to apologise. Plants and pots have been replaced and verbal apologies have been received. We are now waiting for letters of apology to our children. The whole incident has been very upsetting and we hope that we will never be victims of pointless and mindless vandalism again. We hope that those who were responsible have learnt a valuable lesson and will in future think about the consequences or their actions. Thank you to Mr Carter, our Caretaker, who has spent considerable time clearing up the mess. Back to top

Cross Country
Well done to everyone who took part in the recent Cross Country event at Princetown School. Oliver, Joe, Andy and Ryan made huge efforts in the Fun Run and never gave up. The Teams ran in the longer course for the League Competition which was very hard with lots of uphill. Well done to Sarah, Freya, Poppy, Holly, Beth W, Edward, Michael, Haze, Dan J and Sam. They also looked really smart in the sports tracksuits purchased by the PTA and Friends, supported by a grant from the Parich Council. Thank you to the parents who supported the children and helped with transport. Back to top

Book Week

This has been very successful with lots of exciting activities taking place throughout the School. The children made a real effort dressing up as characters from Sleeping Beauty. Yesterday they watched a play written and performed by Class 3 and then joined in with the wedding celebrations at the end. Class 3 did a brilliant job writing the play and learning their lines in such a short time.

The book jacket competition produced some excellent entries and the children had obviously spent considerable time and effort on them. The judges found it very difficult but eventually decided to award prizes to Lily, Izzy, Samantha and Leah.

We hope you will be using the book vouchers, We have a limited amount of vouchers left over if you would like another. Either ask at the Office or ask your child to collect one. First come first served.
