Junk Band goes Live
Tomorrow, Saturday 5th January, our Junk Band will be busking in Bedford Square between 10.00am and 11.30am. They will be modelling their new T-shirts as well as entertaining the crowds of shoppers. We do hope that if you go into Tavistock tomorrow morning you will spare a moment to go along and support our children. Thank you to Miss Dawkins for organising the band. Chickenpox

Parent Interviews

Please note that we have allocated the week beginning Monday 11th February to meet with you regarding your child's progress. We will also be discussing the Individual Education Plans for those children on our Special Needs Register.

Further information will be sent out nearer the time but we hope all parents will be able to attend.

Swimming
Just to let you know that we will be starting swimming after half term. We have decided to move to Okehampton Pool. Sessions have been arranged for Friday afternoons. Key stage 2 children will be swimming first. However we will send you further details nearer the time. Back to top
Clubs

We are pleased to be able to continue the Clubs that were running last term. All Clubs will start next week.

 

MONDAY         Drama Club    3.15-4.15pm led by Mrs Baxter in the Hall. Key Stage 2

                        Football Club  3.15-4.15pm led by Mr Collacott at the School Field. Key Stage 2

 

TUESDAY       Cross Country Club  3.15-4.15pm led by Mrs Pratten in the fields opposite Townhead Cottage near         

                       School. Key Stage 2

 

WEDNESDAY  Ukulele Club      lunchtimes         led by Miss Dawkins. Key Stage 2

                        Sewing Club     3.15-4.15pm      led by Mrs Macgougan. Years  2 - 6 inclusive

                       Junk Band Club  3.15-4.15pm      led by Miss Dawkins. Years 2 - 6inclusive

 

FRIDAY           Chess Club    lunchtimes  led by Mr Kemp. Key Stage 2

                        French Club  lunchtimes  led by Ms Penfold. Key Stage 2

 

If your child attended any of the Clubs last term you do NOT need to complete another consent form. If your child would like to start a Club please let us know. If your child does not wish to continue with a Club please let the adult concerned know.

If your child is in School but unable to attend a Club for any reason we do expect them to show good manners and tell the adult leading the Club. Please support us by reminding your child to do this.

Dinner Money

We are pleased to report that there has been a high take-up of school meals. They are all freshly prepared and very nutritious, representing good value for money at £1.75 fo a two course lunch.

If you would like to pay for your child's meals on a half termly basis please contact Mrs Bassett and this can be arranged. Remember that all cheques should be made payable to Devon County Council.
